The two V's in our range

Over the years we have promoted the virtues of camera based auto calibration technology from VIOSO and now we have added the VNS GeoBox system to our range.
Why?

VIOSO is a great brand and we love the company. They are one of the most suppprtive teams I have ever come across. The company has grown in leaps and bounds from a very humble beginning 11 years ago.

For the rental, staging and performance industry VIOSO technology offers great benefits in form of time saving, in particular when it comes to complex mapping and warping.
(Have you ever tried to calibrate a Dome or curved screen with different radius and had to get your neck cramps massaged away afterwards?).

For smaller installations, where blending and warping is required, VIOSO would be of great benefit, in particular if non-technical staff is involved running the show, except that there is sometimes a certain reluctance to have a 'computer in the system' and maybe the higher cost.

So while VIOSO is a great solution, we needed an alternative. Enter VNS.

In fact VNS is better known as GeoBox. It comes from a small, but very dedicated and dynamic company in Taiwan. I have known Steve Wand, the CEO, for many years and visited his company.
VNS offers a different approach to blending and warping. The system consists of dedicated 'boxes' which offer high resolution input and output, up to 4K/60 fps and features such as blending, warping, Pip, POP and mage rotation, etc..
However, once the system is set-up, it can be left untouched. No Windows PC to start, no unwanted software can be installed and the operation is set-up for years of unattended use, except maybe for re-alignment of projectors. But that is a subject of another article.
Ah, I forgot. GeoBox is also great for Videowall operation, since all the essential features can be used with projectors, LCD's and even LED's.

So the two V's are on opposite end of the scale and they complement each other and do not compete.

We have both here, so if you want to see them, just give us a call or drop us an e-mail.
